This afternoon on my way home from Trenton I stopped in at Bronte Harbour in Oakville. The rains had not started yet, but it was windy and you could almost sense a storm was moving in. I walked out to the end of one of the piers and took this shot. Lots of gulls just happened to leave one of the other piers moments earlier so I waited for them to come into the image.

At lunch today I drove into downtown Belleville. I saw several beautiful churches and by chance they all happen to be located along Church Street…who would have thought? 🙂 This particular one is St. Michael The Archangel Roman Catholic church. It was windy and raining pretty hard when I took this shot. Needless to say I did not spend much time trying to get a “better” view!

This morning I headed to Hendrie Valley and Grindstone Marsh. There were lots of birds out and about. I did find out from a fellow photographer just how territorial Red Winged Black Birds are. The guy pictured here was not happy about another bird being in his territory and he was making sure we all knew about it.

After dinner this evening I glanced outside and noticed the interesting cloud formations. I said to myself “self there is going to be a nice sunset tonight”. So I headed down to my favourite place in Hamilton to photograph sunset, Cootes Bay. Mother Nature did not disappoint as I was rewarded a beautiful sunset!Â

Late this afternoon I headed into Toronto to have Easter dinner with my family. After spending nearly 20 minutes trying to find somewhere to park, I was walking back to their apartment building and I happened to walk past this funky painted wall and door. It is actually a skate shop and this was done on purpose.
