Life Through The Lens – Part III – February 22 Image

A little late on my post from yesterday. My version of Lightroom that I have on my work PC would not recognize the RAW files from my new Canon M10 camera. So I could not do anything with the images until today.

I drove around late yesterday afternoon in the Romulus, Michigan area looking for sunset locations. I had thought I found a park on Google Maps that looked to be perfect for sunset but the bridge on the road leading too it was washed out so I could not get to the park. So I stopped alongside the road and shot this.

Today was a rainy but reasonably warm day for mid February. There is no ice on Lake Ontario but some fog had built up over near the Skyway Bridge.

As many times as I have photographed Niagara Falls, this is the first time I have gone at sunrise. Mother Nature did not disappoint! The mighty Horseshoe Falls at its grandest!

A bit of a snowy day today here in Burlington. But nice to go for a walk.

Today’s image is a bit abstract as I really liked this yellow leaf amongst the green leaves of the fern. Photographed in Panama City, Panama.

This morning I hired a driver to show me some of the “touristy” sites in and around Panama City. It was a beautiful morning in the city and I did a lot of walking. Here is an image from down at the waterfront.

A shot taken out of my hotel room window here in Panama. Yesterday I changed hotels since my original hotel was simply too far from where I was working. This new hotel is much more convenient.
