Upper Waterfowl Lake

“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place. I have found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”

Inspiration over Information

Of course, there will always be those who look only at technique, who ask ‘how,’ while others of a more curious nature will ask ‘why.’ Personally, I have always preferred inspiration to information.’

Imagine Series

Over the next few weeks I will be displaying a series of prints I am calling “Imagine”.

The purpose of these prints is to entice people into thinking and imagining what it would be like, what you would be feeling if you were standing at the location. I want people to look at these images and think “wow, that is just beautiful! I want to go there”

In my opinion Canadian Tourism does a not so great job of promoting the most beautiful country in the world. We have everything in this country from incredible oceans to magnificent mountain ranges, deep blue lakes and wonderful waterfalls. And yet where do a very large percentage of people go when they go on vacation? To the U.S or to Europe. I have always wondered why this is. I have covered a lot of this incredible country over the years and yet I have only seen a tiny piece of what it has to offer. Yes I have travelled to the U.S and to Europe and other areas of the world and yes the scenery is beautiful in many parts of the world, but I still come back to Canada and I still have to pick my jaw up from the floor when I drive roads such as The Columbia Icefields Parkway and The Cabot Trail.

All of these prints will be for sale in one size only. 16 inches x 20 inches. They will come unmounted and unframed as I leave that up to the buyer. They would make a great Christmas gift for someone!

If you are interested in purchasing one or more of these prints please contact me via e-mail through my blog or my web site.
