World Lion Day – August 10, 2013

Today is World Lion Day. The lion is one of the worlds most iconic species. It can be found on almost every continent and in thousands of cultures demonstrating man’s fascination with this magnificent beast. Today we must celebrate this amazing animal and create conservation awareness to help save the King of Beasts and his kingdom.
