This is a shot from the Mount Lorette Ponds, located on Highway 40 in the Kananaskis area of Alberta. These little ponds are very pretty and make a great foreground for beautiful mountains in the background! 🙂
As much as I tried to talk myself out of driving back out to the Rockies this afternoon, I was unsuccessful! So off I went. My first stop was Lake Minnewanka. Since the temperatures were crazy warm today, hitting +17 in Calgary, much of the top layer of ice on the lakes had melted. There were some beautiful clouds in the sky and the light was just gorgeous!
It is finally here!! I am announcing my first Canadian Rockies Photography Workshop! This 6 day extravaganza will begin Sunday September 16 and end Saturday September 22. We will be staying in the beautiful Num-Ti-Jah lodge located on Bow Lake in the heart of the Rockies! If you have ever wanted to “go west” and see the incredible beauty of the Canadian Rockies, here is your chance! For more details, please e-mail me.
