A New Direction

For the last couple of years I have had this little voice in my head telling me to try something different in photography. I was not really paying attention to it, probably due to lack of sleep from my crazy full time job. But it kept persisting, telling me to change, to expand my creativity. It did not really make sense until recently. I started dabbling in ICM (Intentional Camera Movement). I fell in love with it. But it still did not click until I realized that I could tell a story with it. Or at least the illusion of a story with it. Make the viewer use their imagination and pique their curiosity. I believe this type of photography can really push the boundaries of creativity. It is pushing me already and making me think outside of the norm.

This type of photography is not for everyone, and some may like it and some may hate it, but here is where I am also changing. I am doing this photography for me. I could care less about number of likes on FB or IG.

That being said, I will still be shooting the odd “normal” image here and there!  I still love wildlife and will always photograph it when an opportunity presents itself. I am also looking for collaborators on projects involving ICM.

Below are a few images I shot recently.
