Life Through The Lens – Part II – March 15 Image

This morning I headed out to spend a few hours relaxing and chasing my passion. My first stop was Dundurn Castle in Hamilton. This castle is a national historic site and is owned now by the City of Hamilton. It was constructed over a 3 year period and completed in 1835. The castle illustrates the life and times of Sir Allan Napier MacNab, one of Canada’s first premiers. The image below is of The Folly which is on the grounds of Dundurn Park. It is rumoured that many underground tunnels are located on the grounds and access to some of them is through The Folly.
