Panama City is the capital and largest city in Panama. It is located on the Pacific side of the Panama Canal. It has a population of about 1.5 million people and is the political and administrative centre of the country of Panama. Interestingly enough it is one of the top 5 places in the world to retire too according to International Living Magazine.
I am working outside of Jefferson City, MO this weekend, and this afternoon I finished up early and went for a walk around this pretty city that I have never been too. It was a gorgeous day for wandering!
I am working in Champaign, Illinois for a couple of days, and today I had an opportunity to go for a walk through this pleasant city’s downtown. Big, dark clouds moved in looking to rain on my parade, but stayed away. This is a shot of the United Methodist church.
Back in October 2015, my family and I visited New York City. It had been over 30 years since I was there and a lot has certainly changed. It is a vibrant, and busy city with no lack of interesting places to visit.
Today I participated in a fun event called the Goodwill Walking Restaurant Tour in downtown Hamilton. This is a great event for charity where you get to go to 5 local restaurants and taste sample items on their menu along with no shortage of alcohol. 🙂
During the day I was randomly snapping street images. This was one of my favourites.
