I am working outside of Jefferson City, MO this weekend, and this afternoon I finished up early and went for a walk around this pretty city that I have never been too. It was a gorgeous day for wandering!
You know you travel a lot when all of your images from the past week have been from the inside of a restaurant or an airport! Today’s shot is no different! Part of my Window Seat project, this shot is from our climb out of Chicago’s O’Hare airport on the way to Toronto.
This morning while sitting in the plane at Mexico City airport I glanced out the window to see the sun coming out above some clouds. At the same time a plane was taking off directly east and climbing. I timed the shot just right. Part of my Window Seat project.
I am in Lafayette, Indiana over the weekend and before heading off to get something to eat this evening I drove around for a while. North of Lafayette there are huge fields of wind turbines. It is great to see Indiana producing renewable energy!
Shhhhh…this is still July 13. Don’t tell anyone I am posting this one day late! 🙂
Yesterday we were at a backyard BBQ party and the host had this sun symbol hanging in the backyard. Considering the amount of rain lately I thought it was a perfect symbol for the day. The day was beautiful!
My wife mentioned to me the other day about a large field of Sunflowers along Highway 6 in Flamborough. She said they were droopy however since they were pretty much done. I went there today and after risking life and limb to park on the shoulder of a very busy highway, I captured a few images.
