Baby Alligator

I drove from Miami to Tampa today and just after leaving Miami I stopped for a couple of hours at Green Cay Wetlands Nature Center. Lots of birds around and about 4 of these baby alligators. Did not see any sign of Mom though.

Went for a short tour to Gautala Wildlife Sanctuary, about 50km from Aurangabad, India today. It was a balmy +42 degrees C today.  Although it was the wrong time of year to visit this sanctuary, I still managed to see some monkeys and this guy.

I spent a couple of hours today at Grindstone Marsh with a few other photographer friends enjoying a beautiful day outside! We hiked a fair bit of the marsh and saw quite a few different critters out and about. One of our friends spotted this frog on a log and he was quite photogenic!

Today I attended the 1st annual Hamilton Photographers Rock picnic at Gage Park in Hamilton. It was a lot of fun with a great group of people. At Gage Park is the city of Hamilton greenhouses where they grow the flowers and such which they plant all over the city. One of the greenhouses is open to the public and in there they have a few small ponds with fish and turtles and so forth. This guy was showing me his best side!

I am going to post 2 images today. One is of an Iguana I saw at the resort and the 2nd one a palm tree leaf(s). This afternoon we received torrential rain for about 30 minutes. Then the beautiful weather returned. Tomorrow is our last full day in Playa Del Carmen.

Since today was a hectic day of travel I did not get a chance to get a picture. So I am using a shot from the other evening up in the Wichita Mountains. This little guy was scurrying about near where I was standing. I don’t know what kind of lizard he is but the colours are wonderful!
