Today is my last full day in Australia. Tomorrow I begin the long journey back home. Although I was working the last 3 weeks, I have enjoyed the down time in Sydney and the hospitality of the folks. G’day mate!
I spent the day wandering around in The Rocks and Circular Quay and then headed through the Botanical Gardens for sunset pictures. What a beautiful evening!
I arrived back into Sydney and Circular Quay mid afternoon today. It was a beautiful day, warm and no clouds. About an hour after I set out it seemed Mother Nature decided she was a bit upset with something and the winds came up so fierce I could almost not stand. The clouds came roaring in and the temperature dropped significantly. Needless to say everyone ran for cover. But because I am not the smartest guy around, I stayed out and ended up with some decent shots to make it worthwhile!
I spent a good part of the day wandering around a piece of the beautiful city of Sydney, Australia. Wow this city has changed since I last visited in 1995! But still very much recognizable is the famous Harbor Bridge. This bridge crosses the harbor between the business district and the North Shore. Construction was started in 1923 and it opened in 1932.
