These young Great Horned Owlettes were so cute! They were simply not content to sit there and pose. They had to check out stuff and hop around and wonder why there were a bunch of humans with weird things in front of their faces!
From the Canadian Raptor Conservancy last weekend.
While in The Faroe Islands we had one evening where the skies stayed somewhat clear for a few hours. We also happened to have a full moon. Once the moon was behind one of the mountains, the moon beams lit up the sky. I had a lot of fun playing with compositions!
One of the most amazing parts of the Faroe Islands was the ever changing light. You would be photographing something in one direction, look over in another direction and the light would be amazing! Or you would be driving through rain, come around a bend or over a hilltop and amazing light would appear before you!
