Life Through The Lens – Part II – September 14 Image

Just before noon today I dropped by Grindstone Marsh. It is a beautiful day and lots of folks were out and about. There were some awesome photographers at the marsh and they had captured great shots of Bald Eagles and Ospreys earlier. On one of the ponds was this Heron. He was quite a distance away but was not moving a lot. Since my birding photography skills need a lot of work, I tend to like to shoot them when they are not moving! 🙂 I simply love the softness of this image and the reflection. This is one of my favourite bird pictures I have taken this year!
