The Sydney Opera House is one of the world’s most recognizable iconic architectural structures. It was designed by Danish architect Jorn Utzon and construction was started in 1958. Although its name may imply a single venue, it comprises multiple performances and is one of the busiest art centres in the world. There are over 1500 performances each year attended by 1.2 million people. Over 7 million people visit the grounds of the Opera House every year.
